Design and Prototyping of Electronic Load Controller for Pico Hydropower System

چکیده

A hydroelectric power plant is an electrical energy generator that utilizes water to drive a turbine coupled generator. The main problem in plants the frequency and voltage fluctuations due consumer loads. purpose of this research make prototype Electronic Load Controller (ELC) system at Pico Hydropower Plant. part ELC sensor gating system. first made by Zero Crossing Detector, which detects frequency. was developed with TRIAC. method used addition complement load controlled delaying control intended maintain stability produced PID algorithm control. results accuracy test are 99.78%, precision 99.99%. can adjust automatically setting firing delay on TRIAC distribute unused loads complementary so remains stable. tested increasing decreasing load. proposed gives stable 50Hz. Whereas test, mean 183V, second 182.17V.
